If this is you – fear not – the yoga itself is what will help you feel more flexible and comfortable in your body. Our instructors give a wide range of movements and stretches, and you can opt in or out depending on your comfort level.

Jamie Austin

Jamie is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 certified yoga teacher serving the St. Louis, Missouri, area. She began her yoga journey in 1998 by practicing the physical aspects of yoga (asana) following a sports-related injury. As she learned more about the mind-body connection and its relationship in yoga, Jamie looked to deepen my knowledge and became a certified Yoga Instructor in 2014.

Jamie's teaching strives to make movement accessible and approachable; advocating for self-love by focusing on what you can do today and creating an environment of encouragement and growth-honoring the present YOU.

Saturdays

Anne Schweitzer

Anne became a Climb So iLL member in 2012; in addition to climbing, she also attended the gym's yoga classes regularly. Over time, Anne noticed that the focus and awareness she cultivated in her yoga practice enhanced her climbing, and the strength she developed through climbing allowed her to expand her yoga practice. Motivated by this experience, Anne received her RYT200 from YogaSource in the Fall of 2016 and has been teaching regularly since.

Students can expect to focus on connecting breath and movement, building strength and flexibility, and finding their own "edge." Anne asks students to share their expectations at the beginning of each class and incorporates this feedback into the asana (pose) sequence. This collaboration creates an inclusive environment that is ideal for students of all experience levels.
