Description
We are accepting applications for Welcome Desk Team Members. This position is best suited for cheerful, outgoing, and dynamic individuals who enjoy the gym environment.
The role of a Welcome Desk Team Member is multi-faceted. This customer-focused position revolves around a multitude of tasks required to run the gym on a day-to-day basis. You are expected to provide excellent customer service to our diverse group of customers, develop and maintain impactful connections with members, and guide new guests through the basic use of climbing equipment and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
Welcome Desk Team Members are responsible for:
- Explaining and demonstrating correct usage of climbing equipment and the facility.
- Building member relationships and contributing to the climbing community as a whole.
- Monitoring climbing areas to ensure safety procedures are adhered to by climbers and spectators.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the climbing area and facility.
- Maintaining member files and waiver forms.
- Performing point-of-sale transactions.
Requirements
Welcome Desk Team Members must:
- Have night AND weekend availability.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Be a team player.
- Take personal pride in delivering excellent customer service.
- Thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
